New Toyota Aygo
Toyota have come up with yet another
revolutionary environmentally friendly vehicle in the form of
their new Aygo (pronounced I-go). Whereas the
company's hybrid vehicles (the Toyota Prius and the Lexus
RX-400H) employ the latest electronic systems to save fuel, the
Aygo is, in certain respects, a more basic approach. But
it's still a great piece of engineering.
Toyota are currently striving to make their
vision of “Today for Tomorrow” a reality. They sum up
this philosophy with the words “Zeronise” and
“Maximise”.
"Zeronise embodies the aim to reduce the
harmful effects of automobiles on the environment – including
CO2 and exhaust emissions, traffic congestion and accidents –
while Maximise represents our goal of providing ever-greater
comfort, fun and excitement in our vehicles. That means we
are ultimately striving for Zero negative impacts on our
environment."
