Nissan 350Z

2005 Model Nissan 350Z
Nissan's brilliant 350Z certainly caused a few
alarms bells for the competition. Great looks, fine handling
and a lovely 3.5 litre V6 engine combine to make a great package;
and prices start at just £24,500 in coupe form and £26,500 for
the recently introduced convertible. An extra
£2,500 on each model buys the GT Pack which ups the already
impressive spec to include extra goodies including leather seats
and cruise control. Demand for the 350Z is sure
to outstrip supply - they're already very hard to get hold
of. Without doubt this is going to keep residuals high; a
three year old 350Z is expected to be worth almost 60% of its
original list price according to some sources. But running
costs will still be significant - a combined cycle of 24.8mpg and
an Insurance group of 18 is quoted for all models. All
standard models produce 280 bhp and a maximum torque of 274 lbft
which is sufficient to propel the coupe from 0-60 in a shade under
6 seconds. These vital stats add up to a package
that is competitive against the other cars in its sector - the
Audi TT, Porsche Boxster, Honda S2000 and BMW Z4 could all loose
sales to the Nissan. However, this is an increasingly
popular market so we expect that demand for all of these popular
models will remain high. Sellers of Nissan 350Z
